Biography
Dr. Tamer Mesallam, is an Associate Professor of Phoniatrics at ENT Department, College of Medicine, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He is the supervisor of Laryngopharyngeal Reflux clinics at King Abdulziz University Hospital. Dr. Mesallam has spent 2 years as a Research Fellow at Voice Center, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Ohio, USA. He is currently the Director of the ENT Research Unit at King Abdulaziz University Hospital and the Research Director of the Research Chair of Voice, Swallowing, and Communication Disorders. He has several publications in the field of voice and communication disorders and co-managing a 2 Million Saudi Riyal grant from the National Plan of Science and Technology at King Saud University. Dr. Mesallam also has been recently appointed as the Head of ENT Committee for Clinical Practice Guidelines at College of Medicine, King Saud University.
